FinancialCorp $500 Rate Review Offer – Official Terms
FinancialCorp may issue a $500 check to qualifying merchants if, after reviewing their current processing setup, FinancialCorp is unable to beat or match the merchant's overall pricing and value structure.
1. Eligibility
To qualify, the merchant must:
- Be an active U.S.-based business.
- Submit a complete, legible, recent merchant processing statement from their current provider.
- Provide sufficient information for FinancialCorp to perform a fair and accurate competitive analysis.
- Cooperate in verifying current pricing, monthly volume, fees, and existing equipment/software obligations.
- Be willing to review a comparable proposal from FinancialCorp.
2. Statement Requirements
The submitted statement must:
- Reflect a recent processing period designated by FinancialCorp.
- Be complete, accurate, unaltered, and clearly show the merchant account, volume, and fee structure.
- Be sufficient to verify effective rate, pricing, and related costs.
FinancialCorp reserves the right to reject any incomplete, illegible, altered, misleading, outdated, unverifiable, or otherwise unsuitable submission.
3. Comparison Standard
The review is based on the merchant's overall processing setup, not a single rate. It may include effective rate, processing markup, monthly and transaction fees, equipment structure, software/gateway costs, POS/platform limitations, support, service quality, reporting tools, integration capability, and overall business fit.
FinancialCorp may determine it has matched or exceeded the merchant's current value through improvements in overall pricing, service, technology, or business fit, even if a single line item or headline rate is not lower.
4. Exclusions
This offer does not apply if:
- The merchant submits a false, altered, misleading, or unverifiable statement.
- The merchant is not the account holder or authorized decision-maker.
- Current pricing cannot be reasonably verified.
- The merchant is unwilling to review a FinancialCorp proposal.
- There is an undisclosed contract, lease, or equipment obligation that materially affects comparability.
- The current system is proprietary and cannot be comparably replaced.
- Current pricing includes temporary, promotional, introductory, subsidized, loss-leader, or non-standard terms.
- The merchant is in a high-risk or specially underwritten category.
- Volume, transaction profile, processing method, or industry type makes direct comparison commercially unreasonable.
- The statement does not reflect the merchant's actual current business or processing environment.
- The merchant has previously submitted for or received this offer.
- The merchant is an existing FinancialCorp account, affiliate, partner, referral source, or otherwise excluded at FinancialCorp's discretion.
5. Industry & Processing Limitations
Certain categories may require additional review and can be excluded, including high-risk industries, hospitality/hotels with unusual authorization or settlement patterns, proprietary POS or processor-locked systems, highly customized enterprise pricing, unusual card mix, Level II-III or large-ticket setups, or non-comparable bundled equipment/software costs.
FinancialCorp determines whether a fair like-for-like comparison is possible.
6. Fraud & Misrepresentation
Any fraudulent, altered, manipulated, borrowed, fabricated, or misleading submission results in immediate disqualification. If FinancialCorp reasonably suspects the statement is fake, modified, does not belong to the merchant, material information was withheld, or the merchant misrepresented its setup, pricing, or obligations, the offer is void.
7. Review Process
- Submit a recent processing statement through FinancialCorp's approved channel.
- Allow competitive analysis.
- Receive and review FinancialCorp's proposed structure.
- Allow FinancialCorp to determine whether it can beat or match the current overall setup.
8. Payment
If FinancialCorp determines, in its sole but good-faith judgment, that it cannot beat or match the merchant's current overall pricing and value under a comparable setup, the merchant may receive a $500 check.
Payment:
- Is issued only after full review.
- May require written eligibility confirmation.
- Is limited to one per qualifying merchant.
- Will not be issued if the merchant is disqualified.
9. Reservation of Rights
FinancialCorp reserves the right to verify all information, request additional documents or clarification, determine comparability, reject any non-qualifying submission, and modify, suspend, or discontinue the offer at any time, subject to applicable law.
10. Important Note
This offer is a good-faith competitive review opportunity and is not a guarantee of eligibility for all merchants, industries, or processing setups. Use of this offer constitutes agreement to these terms.
